Nazira lat mandal arrested on bribery charges

SIVASAGAR: The sleuths of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Assam arrested a lat mandal on bribery charges in Sivasagar on Wednesday. The lat mandal, posted at the office of the Nazira Revenue Circle Office, has been identified as Diganta Baruah. According to sources, Baruah was caught red handed while accepting the demanded money from the complainant Romijuddin Ahmed of Geleky Deopani area for issuing trace map and land holding number certificate.
