Nazira student evacuated from Ukraine

SIVASAGAR: A student of Nazira, studying in Ukraine, has arrived safely at the New Delhi International Airport. The Government of India has able to evacuate the student, Farmin Nasreen Sultana and according to information received, the student has arrived at the New Delhi International Airport.

The student is already on her way to Guwahati from New Delhi. She was a student in the Department of Medical Sciences at UZHHOROD University in Ukraine.

The family of Farmin Nasrin Sultana has been worried since the outbreak of war between Ukraine and Russia. Parents and family members are waiting for the student after the Indian Government's air force recently rescued her. The student will be arriving home on Thursday morning. Parents and family members have lauded the steps taken by the Indian Government to rescue the student. They also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

On the other hand, Sabyasachi Kashyap, Subdivisional Officer of Nazira, visited the residence of Farmin Nasrin Sultana at Mejenga, Nazira, and contacted the family.
