NCHAC CEM Debolal Gorlosa appeals villagers not to use polythene bags

Haflong: The Chief Executive Member of NC Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa on Saturday appealed to villagers not to use polythene bags and to maintain cleanliness in the villages. This was part of his effort to make the villagers aware about the government’s water conservation campaign, Jal Shakti Abhiyan.

CEM Gorlosam accompanied by EM Samuel Changsan, EM Biswajit Daulagupu and MAC Prajit Hojai, was there to inaugurate the FW Sub-centre at Nablaidisa village, Bhaikos of Drang Bathari-II village, Hajadisa village and Didambra village.

Gorlosa also inaugurated the Boro Diger approach road and the Didambra-Kharnaipur II village approach road and laid the foundation stone for the improvement of road from KK Road to Hajadisa. This was followed by a visit to Birangana Joya Thaosen Memorial Dimasa Saraswati Vidya Mandir at Hajadisa village where he interacted with the students. He also distributed utensils among the villagers.
