NCHAC election held peacefully in Dima Hasao

Haflong: Around 75 per cent voter turnout was recorded till the time of filing the report and the percentage is expected to rise till Sunday. An accurate percentage is only to be expected the next day of polling after more information from further areas, including Jinam.

Polling in all 28 constituencies was held peacefully and matters for re-polling, if necessary, will only be reported once the polling officials reach the headquarter. Polling to 28 constituencies under Dima Hasao district for the 12th North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council election was held on Saturday and result will be declared on January 22.
