NECARDO sends suggestions to PM Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal

DHUBRI: North East Craft and Rural Development Organisation (Necardo), a non-governmental organization working in the north-eastern region, has come up with pragmatic strategies and approach to fight COVID-19 at the grassroots level.

Necardo already sent its suggestions and strategies to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor of Assam Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal a couple of days ago. In its suggestions, the organization urged upon them to form ‘Micro Level-Alternative Task Force (MLATF), which consists of formation of village-level ward committee and formation of urban-level ward committee. The task force should be constituted from District Task Force to ward level to help citizens of the ward in getting ration and pass and generating awareness on COVID-19, general health and medicine. Further, the task force will report to the authority about the harmful activities to address citizen’s problems through WhatsApp- group and other social media devices.
