NEEPCO donates mortuary van to district administration of Dima Hasao

HAFLONG: As part of its corporate social responsibility, NEEPCO (North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited Company) donated a mortuary van to the district administration of Dima Hasao.

Paul Barua, Deputy Commissioner of Dima Hasao, received the mortuary van on behalf of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) from Debotosh Bhattacharjee, Chief General Manager (E/M), NEEPCO at the premises of the DC office, Haflong on Wednesday.

Extending his appreciation towards the corporation officials, DC Paul Baruah said that such an act would benefit the people of this district, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. He lauded NEEPCO for helping and assisting the community by extending such philanthropic donation.
