Nehru Yuva Kendra organized Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Sivasagar under the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India organized Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 in Sivasagar on Friday. The run, organized in collaboration with National Service Scream (NSS), was formally inaugurated by waving the flag in front of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar by the Mandira Barua, Sub-Divisional Officer (S).

Students of various colleges and workers of Nehru Yuva Kendra participated in the run, which was organized with a view to create awareness on connecting 30 minutes of physical activity daily to stay healthy and fit. Participants were vowed to connect physical movement in their lives before the run.

Participants also performed the national anthem before the run organized as part of the Independence Amrit Mahotsav program in conjunction with the country's 75th Independence Day celebration. Nehru Yuva Kendra's officer Papai Das was present in the program along with others.
