New Bodo Feature Film Gwthar Released in Ramfalbil

Kokrajhar: New Bodo feature film Gwthar, the fourth film produced by RB Film Productions, Kokrajhar, was released on Saturday in Ramfalbil. The premier show held at RN Brahma Memorial Field, Ramfalbil was inaugurated by MLA Rabiram Narzary in presence of the producer and other dignitaries.

An artistes’ evening was also held in connection with the releasing of new film where noted artistes like Helina, Fuji, Sukbir, Riya and Thaklai showed their performance.

Addressing the audience, local MLA Rabiram Narzary said the film industry was one of the important sectors which provided career opportunities to youths. He said RB Film Productions had been playing an important role in the development of the film industry and it emphasized modern and new techniques of film making, at par with the Hindi film industry. He also said that cinema reflected the culture and traditions of the society.

Narzary stressed the need of infrastructure development to boost the film industry in BTC. He also hoped that the new film would prove a big success.

Producer of the film, Riya Brahma said she was happy to see the rush of hundreds of spectators in the premier show. She said this was her fourth film and she considered this as her success. She also hoped that the people of the region and cine lovers would appreciate her efforts. The main artistes of the film are Lingsar, Sukbir, Pooja, Riya, Thaklai, Rajashree, Araitha and Pwjakhang. The story has been written by Pankosh Lahary and it is directed by Raja Narzary. The premier show was also attended by BTC MCLA Jatirindra Brahma, Chirang DC P. Talukdar, Kokrajhar SP Rajen Singh, Additional SP Rosy Rani Sharma and others.
