New body formed of Dhubri unit of Indian Red Cross Society

DHUBRI: Newly-elected body of Dhubri unit of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) was formed under the presidentship of Dhubri Deputy Commissioner, Anbamuthan MP in the conference hall of Dhubri Circuit House on Monday. Earlier, on May 17, Dhubri Deputy Commissioner being the president of Dhubri IRCS elected Vice-President, Dhubri ADC, Manas Kumar Saikia as vice-president, Dr. Debamoy Sanyal as Chairman, Udayan Chakraborty as Vice-Chairman and Premsukh Sethia as the treasurer with support from 31-member body of the Society in the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

In the meeting held on Monday, Deputy Commissioner proposed the name of Bijoy Kumar Sharma for the post of secretary, which was supported by full house without and thus Sharma was appointed as the Secretary of Dhubri IRCS.
