New body of Bhojpuri Parishad formed in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The Lilabari regional committee of the Akhil Asom Bhojpuri Parishad under Lakhimpur district committee was formed on Saturday. On this occasion, a public meeting was organized at Shiva Mandir premises of NEFA colony of Lilabari area under the chairmanship of Monoj Satyarthi.

The ad-hoc committee of the organization, which was formed on February 2, was dissolved in the meeting in which the full-fledged 21-member Lilabari regional committee was constituted selecting Subhas Sahu as president, Aravinda Gupta as working president, Radheshyam Sahu, Kamali Mala and Sakuntala Devi as vice president, Binod Prashad as secretary and Niki Singh as assistant secretary.
