New body of Sibsagar Press Club formed

SIVASAGAR: After a long gap of 9 years, a new committee of the Sibsagar Press Club was formed on Monday evening. Dr Sabyasachi Mahanta, a senior columnist and Principal of Gargaon College, has been selected as the president of the new committee while Pabitra Borthakur, Dr Utpal Dutta and Atanu Borah have been selected as the vice presidents of the body.

Senior journalist Khalilur Rahman Hazarika has been selected as the General Secretary while Joyjyoti Gogoi, Muktab Hussain, Mofidul Islam and Himangshu Neog have been selected for the post of Assistant General Secretary.
