New central committee of All Koch-Rajbanshi Students Union formed

BONGAIGAON: The new committee of All Koch-Rajbanshi Students Union, (AKRSU) was announced on Tuesday in a press meet conducted by AKRSU after their convention. Khitish Barman was elected as president whereas Parthajyoti Bora and Kapil Singha were elected as joint secretary in the 51-membered central committee of AKRSU.

AKRSU conducted its 10th biannual convention at Bongaigaon on October 3 and 4 to re-elect the new central committee. Gokul Barman and few other leaders of AKRSU were given farewell here from AKRSU as they were selected for Kamatapur Autonomous Council.

Talking to press Khitish Barman, the new president of AKRSU said that he will work for reunification of all Koch-Rajbanshi organizations. "Unitedly we will fight for the rights of Koch-Rajbanshi people," he said.
