New committee formed of Bongaigaon district Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad

BONGAIGAON: The 19th bi-annual convention of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), Bongaigaon district committee was held here on Sunday. The programme started with a flag hoisting ceremony by Ganesh Das, Central Executive Member of AJYCP. After this, ex Central organizing secretary Brajen Barua took part in the lightning of lamps ceremony which was followed by floral tribute paid to martyrs by Bipul Kalita, ex secretary of Bongaigaon district AJYCP.

An open meeting was also conducted which was presided over by Brajen Barua. Several noted persons including Rana Pratap Barua, Central president AJYCP and Bijon Bayan, Central assistant secretary, among others were present. Pulakjyoti Das has been selected as the secretary and Monu Singha has been selected as the president of the new AJYCP district committee.
