New Executive Body of Udalguri Press Club Formed

UDALGURI: A new executive body of Udalguri Press Club was formed in the annual session of the club. The meeting was presided over by Baidyanath Upadhyaya, the acting president of Udalguri Press Club, and the meeting was conducted by Gunjit Das, the general secretary. The executive committee of Press Club approved the applications of membership of Ram Upadhyaya, Akhil Kalita, Anjanjyoti Sarma, and Dhandeep Bora. The committee decided to charge an entry fee of Rs 500 and the annual fee of Rs 100, payable by all members, towards the development of the club.

A new body was formed with Gautam Jyoti Talukdar as president and Baidyanath Upadhyaya as general secretary for the next two years. Dhiren Baishya was selected as vice-president and Dilip Barua as assistant secretary.
