New Jagiroad Development Authority (JDA) chairman takes charge

JAGIROAD: Dibyajit Neog, president of Mayong Mandal Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), took charge as the chairman of Jagiroad Development Authority (JDA) on Monday. In this regard, a meeting was convened at the premises where Morigaon ADC Ananta Gogoi, Mayong Revenue Circle Officer Sanghamitra Boruah, Jagiroad College Principal Dr.Bhaben Chandra Neog, Jagiroad HS Principal Apurba Kumar Das and other dignitaries were present. The post of chairman was lying vacant for the last six months after the tenure of the former chairman expired on May 19 this year.
