MORIGAON: The newly-constructed building of the Morigaon Treasury office was inaugurated by minister Pijush Hazarika in the DC office campus on Saturday. The three-storey building was inaugurated in presence of Deputy Commissioner Rituraj Bora, Superintendent of Police Swapnaneel Deka, Treasury Officer Nayonmoni Sarma and heads of various offices and employees. Thereafter, the minister inaugurated the strong room of the office. Earlier, a felicitation programme was held which was conducted by AA Mukut Ch. Deka.
The three-storey building, which has a lift system, has been constructed at a cost of Rs 2.74 crore.
