New Village Defence Party office inaugurated in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: The newly-constructed office building of the Village Defence Party (VDP) under Doomdooma Police Station (PS) was inaugurated on Tuesday by Doomdooma MLA Rupesh Gowala.

The office was constructed in the premises of Doomdooma PS under MLA's Local Area Development Fund and public donation received at the initiative of Doomdooma OC Inspector Ashim Kumar Bora. Besides the Superintendent of Police (SP), Tinsukia, Debojit Deori and the members of the VDP, the inaugural ceremony was attended by the several distinguished persons of Doomdooma.
