New Year gifts to journalists of Golaghat district

GOLAGHAT: New Year gift was presented to accredited journalists of Golaghat district on Tuesday at Circuit House in Golaghat district.

A gift-distribution programme was organized in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Bibhash Chandra Modi and District Public Relations Officer PapuGogoi. The new year gift was given through the district administration with the joint courtesy of the Director of Information and Public Relation, Assam and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. Altogether 60 accredited journalists from Golaghat, Deragaon, Bokakhat, Numaligarh, Merapani and other places in the district were given the new year gift. On this occasion, District Public Relations Officer PapuGogoi explained the purpose. District Deputy Commissioner Bibhash Chandra Modi also addressed the media.
