NF Railway General Manager Sanjiv Roy visits Lumding-Badarpur hill section

HAFLONG: To take the stock of the situation, the General Manager of N F Railway Sanjiv Roy visited New Haflong Station during his two-day visit to Lumding – Agartala section of N F Railway on Sunday.

GM Roy was accompanied by Divisional Railway Manager Ram Bahadur Rai and other Railway high officials including security personals maintaining COVID protocol.

GM reached here at New Haflong at 2 pm by an inspection carriage from Maligaon, the HQ of N F Railway and was received by Station Superintendent Anil Kumar and others in a solemn way.

Talking to the media person GM Roy said despite the pandemic situation the N F Railway has been doing its best to serve the needy people in all possible ways and means.

When asked about the resumption of passenger train running he said whenever the state government asks the Railway depending on the improved situation, the Railway would be ready to comply with.
