NFR to Run Two Pairs of Chhath Puja Special Trains

GUWAHATI: In order to accommodate the increased passenger demand during "Chhath" Puja, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has planned to operate two pairs of special trains on the Dibrugarh-Gorakhpur and New Jalpaiguri-Gorakhpur routes.

According to the NFR spokeswoman there will be 20 coaches which will make up each of the trains. On October 27, at 7:25 p.m., one of the special trains departed from Dibrugarh and arrived in Gorakhpur on October 29, in the morning.

According to reports, in exchange, the train will leave Gorakhpur at 7:50 a.m. on November 1 and arrive in Dibrugarh, Assam, at 20:50 p.m.

The other special train will operate for a single journey, leaving Gorakhpur at 5 p.m. on October 29 and arriving in New Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, the following morning.

On October 31, at 2:00 p.m., the train will depart New Jalpaiguri in the opposite direction. It will arrive in Gorakhpur the following morning.

•Dibrugarh, 05978 On October 27, 2022, the Gorakhpur Chhath Special will depart from Dibrugarh to Gorakhpur.

•05777 GKP On October 29, 2022, the New Jalpaiguri Chhath Special Train will depart from Gorakhpur and stop in Hajipur.

•New Jalpaiguri, 05778 The Gorakhpur Chhath Special will depart New Jalpaiguri and reach Gorakhpur next day.

•Mumbai Central, 09011 On October 30, 2022, the Malda Town Superfast Special will depart from Mumbai Central and arrive in Muzaffarpur

•Malda Town, 09012. On October 26, 2022, and November 2, 2022, the Mumbai Central Superfast Special Train will depart Malda Town leaving Muzaffarpur and arrive at Mumbai Central.

•Malda Town, 03435 Anand Vihar Chhath Special will depart Malda Town on October 31 and November 7, depart Patna and arrive in Anand Vihar Tuesday.

•On October 26, 2022, Train No. 01032 Malda Town Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Puja Special departed from Malda Town and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj next morning.

•04036 Delhi On October 28, 2022, the Bhagalpur Puja Special will depart from Delhi and arrive in Bhagalpur.

•04035 Bhagalpur On October 29, 2022, the Delhi Puja Special will depart from Bhagalpur and arrive in Delhi.

•04058 Delhi On October 26, 2022, the Bhagalpur Puja Special will depart from Delhi and arrive in Bhagalpur.

•Bhagalpur 04057 On October 27, 2022, the Delhi Puja Special will depart from Bhagalpur and arrive in Delhi.

•Bhagalpur 04033 On October 26, 2022, the Delhi Puja Special will depart from Bhagalpur and arrive in Delhi.

•Amritsar 04680 On October 27, 2022, the Katihar Puja Special will depart from Amritsar and arrive in Katihar.

•On October 28, 2022, the 04679 Katihar Amritsar Puja Special will depart from Katihar and arrive at Amritsar.

•Dehradun 04316 The Howrah Puja Special will depart Dehradun on October 27, 2022, and arrive in Howrah.

•Howrah 04315 On October 28, 2022, the Dehradun Puja Special will depart from Howrah and arrive in Dehradun.

•08117 The Shalimar Badhni Puja Special will arrive in Barhni at 22:00 on October 27, 2022.

•05977 GKP On November 1, 2022, the Dibrugarh Chhath Special will depart from Gorakhpur and travel to Hajipur.

•On November 1 and 8, 2022, the 03436 Anand Vihar - Malda Town Chhath Special train will depart Anand Vihar and arrive in Malda Town.

•Every Thursday through 10.11.2022, the 04002 Anand Vihar Bhagalpur Puja Special will depart from Anand Vihar and move to Bhagalpur.

•Bhagalpur 04001 Every Friday until 11.11.2022, the Anand Vihar Puja Special will depart from Bhagalpur at 19.45 hrs. and arrive at Anand Vihar at 18.40 hrs. the following day.

•Kolkata, 03169 Every Saturday through 12.11.2022, the Haridwar Puja Special will depart from Kolkata and stop in Patna.

•Haridwar, 03170 The Kolkata Puja Special will depart Haridwar on November 13, 2022, and will arrive in Kolkata.
