NFRMU Observed Swahid Divas With Memorial Lecture At Tinsukia Railway Division

TINSUKIA: The NFR Mazdoor Union (NFRMU) observed 51st Swahid Divas with a memorial lecture at Tinsukia Railway Division on Thursday to honour nine Railway workers who were martyred in 1968. The programme was moderated by Pulak Gogoi, central publicity and organizational secretary of NFRMU, and the inaugural lecture was delivered by Brindaban Kalita. More than 100 activists from 12 branches of NFRMU participated in the event. Kamal Talukdar, vice-president of AUWJ (South-East), Himen Bhattacharjyya, senior journalist, and Ranjan Chowdhury, State general secretary of AIDU, addressed the gathering as resource persons.
