NGO for Divyang people observes foundation day

DHUBRI: Bharatiyam, an NGO observed its fourth foundation day with specially challenged (Divyang) people of Dhubri district at Mahamaya Complex recently. In this connection, a meeting was organized which was presided over by Amar Chandra Das of Dhubri district Nehru Yuva Kendra while lamp was lit by an academician Monowar Hussain who is a specially challenged (Divyang) man.

At the on set of the programme, a motivational message by secretary of Bharatiyam, Dhriti Shill Lodh was screened followed by cultural function and distribution of gifts.

Das in his brief speech, appealed to specially challenged people not to be depressed as there were many schemes launched by State and central government for their benefits with reservation in all category of government job. The meeting was addressed by members of Bharatiyam, Zakinur Hussain,Bhaskar Paul and Ratan Saha.
