NGO launches project on mental health in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: ‘We For You’, a non-governmental organization, on Monday launched the project ‘Mental health and wellbeing of children and adolescents in government schools/ hostels’ in collaboration with the DC’s office Dibrugarh, BCPL CSR and Management Committee of Pub Deodhai LP School.

The foundation stone of a Day Care Centre was laid for the benefit of flood victims and landslide victims and to encourage such students as well as other mentally unwell students. The event was inaugurated by Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu.

The event was attended by Chabua Revenue Circle Officer Shilpishikha Thakuria, another Associate Circle Officer Siddharth Kumar, distinguished social worker Ratneswar Phukan, DDR College lecturers Purandar Gohain and Ranendra Khaund, and others.
