Nine cattle seized, 3 smugglers held in Palasbari

PALASBARI: In a night-long operation, a police team of Chhaygaon, led by officer in-charge Kapil Pathak, nabbed three cattle smugglers who were transporting nine cattles illegally on Tuesday morning.

The three smugglers have been identified as Samad Ali (37) from Andhetari village under Boko constituency, Saiful Islam (27) from Tukrapara village under Chhaygaon constituency and Salimuddin (26) from Tukrapara village under Chhaygaon constituency. They were travelling from Boko to Ukiam in a Tata Xenon vehicle (AS-25-CC-5929).
