‘Nirbachita Bharatiya Mahila Kabi Aaru Kabita’, Book released at Rajendra Choudhury Bhawan

NALBARI: A new addition to the world of Assamese translation literature- ‘Nirbachita Bharatiya Mahila Kabi Aaru Kabita’, translated by poet and translator Manash Jyoti Sarma and published by Panchajanya Books, was released at Rajendra Choudhury Bhawan, Nalbari on Thursday.

The book launch programme was conducted by Dr Binoy Kumar Mazumdar. Pankaj Govind Medhi, Nripendra Kumar Sarma, Santanu Sarma, and many others were present in the programme. This collection includes poems by poets from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh, ranging from Akka Mahadevi, Mahadevi Burma, Meena Kumari to Mamang Dai, Leena Manimekelai and Priya Dolma Tamang.
