Nobel prize winner poet; Rabindra Nath Tagore’s birth anniversary observed

BILASIPARA: Under the aegis of EMONSAj, a cultural organization of Bilasipara, the birth anniversary of Nobel prize winner poet Rabindra Nath Tagore and famous revolutionary poet Kazi Nazrul Islam was observed on Thursday in the premises of Pratima Baruah Pandey Auditorium with colourful cultural programmes. In this connection invited dignitaries of Bilasipara, Former MLA Dr. Ashok Kumar Singhi, famous tablist of Sapatgram Chittaranjan Chakraborty, senior journalist Dayal Paul were felicitated with phoolam gamocha at the very beginning of the programme. Large number of students and teachers of the locality participated in the cultural programme. The whole programme was anchored by Sampa Paul, secretary of the EMONSAJ.
