North Lakhimpur Press Club protests against CAB

LAKHIMPUR: The North Lakhimpur Press Club (NLPC) staged protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill on Tuesday.

The NLPC members extended support to the bandh called by the North East Students’ Organization (NESO) to protest against the move of the government at the Centre and the State to pass the Bill without considering and thinking about the future of Assam despite massive agitation staged by the Assamese community. In this regard, they staged their protest by going to various places of North Lakhimpur on bicycles to collect news.
