North Lakhimpur Press Club to observe commemoration programme on February 18

LAKHIMPUR: The North Lakhimpur Press Club (NLPC) observes a commemoration programme on February 18 ever since its former working president Tankeswar Dutta breathed his last on that day in an accident at Rajgir in Bihar in 2010. The NLPC will observe the day this year too in order to pay deep tribute to the departed journalist.

NLPC will organize a lecture programme on the ‘New Land Policy of Assam, 2019’. Eminent columnist and writer of the State, Kishor Kumar Kalita will deliver the lecture on the crucial subject.
