Noted actor & social worker Mukul Neog passes away

GAURISAGAR: Mukul Neog (Lulu), a resident of Phulpanichiga Changmai village and a noted actor, volleyball player and social worker, passed away on Thursday morning at a private nursing home in Guwahati due to COVID-19. He was 47.

He was suffering from severe ailments and was undergoing treatment in Sivasagar, Dibrugarh and Guwahati. Finally, he was admitted in a private hospital in Guwahati. Mukul Neog, widely known as Lulu, was an active social worker and devotedly served the people. His demise was widely mourned in the entire Jhanji Phulpanichiga area.

Various organizations like Phulpanichiga Anchalik Rass Utsav Kala Krishti Kendra,Phulpanichiga Anchalik Puthibhoral Aru Yuba Kendra, Gaurisagar Sankardev Bidya Mondir, Jhanji Press Club, Changmai gaon Naamghar Samaj, Arunudoy Sanskritik Gosthi and many organizations and individuals expressed their condolence. He is survived by his wife, son, mother and a host of relatives.
