Noted businessman Jayanta Boruah felicitated in Nagaon Sangskritik Prakalpa auditorium

NAGAON: Noted businessman, proprietor and the editor of leading Assamese daily Jayanta Boruah attended a function organized by Kollul Sangskritik Gosthi, Nagaon as the guest of honour at Nagaon Sangskritik Prakalpa auditorium here on Friday. During the programme, Boruah was felicitated by dozens of local socio cultural organizations for enrolment of Braille edition of ‘Hemkuch’ in Greenwich book of world record. Over 60 local organizations including Nagaon Zila Sahitya Sabha, Satra Mohasabha, Nagaon Press Club, Nagaon Electronic Media Association, Saurabh Sakha Sahitya Sabha, Srimanta Sankar Mission, Barhampur Blind School, Kunch Rajbanshi Sanmilani, Garia Moria Deshi Jatiya Parishad, etc felicitated Boruah during the programme. Senior scribe Prakash Mahanta accompanied Boruah during his trip to the function here.
