Noted news reader Golap Saikia passes away at 48

Guwahati: Noted news reader and Akashvani announcer Golap Saikia breathed his last on Saturday.

As per reports, Akadhavi Guwahati announcer have died of coronavirus.

The 48 year old news reader was admitted to a hospital in Guwahati after he tested positive for the deadly virus.

He was undergoing treatment in the hospital but his condition detoriated in the last few days.

Previously, he worked as an announcer for Akashvani Nagaon Kendra.
