Novel Nilkanthi Released At Greater Dibrugarh Press Club

Dibrugarh: The latest novel of famed Assamese author Biswajyoti Sarma, titled Nilkanthi was released on Thursday at Greater Dibrugarh Press Club. The novel was ceremonially released by former president of Axam Xahitya Xabha and recipient of the highest honour of the Sahitya Akademi, Dr Nagen Saikia. Speaking on the occasion, Saikia said that the ninth novel of Sharma would become a milestone in the world of Assamese literature. Many dignitaries, litterateurs and poets of the State, including acclaimed poetess Dr. Karabi Deka Hazarika and noted critique Dr Ananda Bormudoi graced the occasion.
