NSS unit of Digboi College observes National Science Day

TINSUKIA: The NSS unit of Digboi College in collaboration with IQAC of Digboi College, Eco-club of Digboi College, ASTEC and MoEF observed National Science Day at Borbil No.2 LP School Digboi on Friday. An awareness programme held on the occasion dwelt on “Superstitious Belief and Women in Science”.

More than 60 school students participated in the programme and two resource persons – Nayana Saikia and Raktutpal Baruah – deliberated on the subject which was followed by an interactive session. The other NSS volunteers of the College Dipankar Deb, Lakhinath Moran and Sangam Baruah also played active roles in the programme. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Chitranjali Borgohain, Principal, 2 no. Borbil LP School.
