KOKRAJHAR: As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week-2020, an awareness session on 'Preventive Vigilance' was conducted in the new service building conference hall at NTPC, Bongaigaon recently.
Anurag Agarwal, Inspector General of Police, BTC, Kokrajhar graced the occasion as faculty of the session. Agarwal stated that it was the responsibility of every citizen of the country that the system remained stable. He underlined the fact that everyone must be vigilant and search for inner happiness. He emphasized that corruption had an adverse effect on the society and advised to bring transparency in the system through more digitalization and allied practices. He appreciated NTPC's efforts towards vigilance awareness and urged all employees to contribute towards building a transparent and accountable framework.
During the session, Rakesh Kumar, CGM, T. Ravindar, GM-O&M, HK Brahma, Commandant, CISF, and other dignitaries were present. Anurag Agarwal also visited unit-1 and unit-2 control rooms and observed the functioning of the station.
