Number of COVID-19 positive cases rises to 13 in Assam

Assam : In a startling revelation, number of COVID-19 positive cases has soared to 13 on April 1, in Assam within 24 hours of the first of such case was detected. As per reports, 12 positive cases have been detected in the last 12 hours in the state. On Tuesday, the first coronavirus positive case was detected in Karimganj. The person is currently undergoing treatment at SIlchar Medical College and Hospital. On Wednesday Assam Health Minister Himanata Biswa Sarma informed media that four positive cases were detected in GMCH, expressing apprehension that the positive case soon touched double-digit. Accordingly, tonight number of the cases spiked to 13.
