Oath administered to newly-elected ward commissioners of both Nazira and Simaluguri MB

GAURISAGAR: The newly-elected ward commissioners of Nazira and Simaluguri Municipality Board assumed charge on Friday. In this connection, a meeting was held at the conference hall of SDO(c), Nazira. Before the meeting, Saibyasachi Kashyap, ADC-cum-SDO(c) Nazira subdivision administered the oath to the newly-elected ward commissioners of both Nazira and Simaluguri Municipality Boards (MB). In the meeting, the elected ward commissioners focused on public grievances like artificial flood and stagnant water problems faced by the people of both MBs.

Earlier in the meeting, Bornali Chetia of ward no 10 and Nasimuddin Ahmed of ward. no 4 of Nazira MB were elected as president and vice-president respectively of Nazira Municipality Board.
