OBITUARY: Aarti Talukdar

Aarti Talukdar, a pious lady and inhabitant of Harisinga area of Udalguri district, passed away at the age of 40 on October 12. Born in Lakhimpur and married to Kamal Talukdar, she spent her early days in various parts of Udalguri district, including Paneri. A soft-spoken lady, she was loved and admired by all for her amicable disposition. She leaves behind her husband, a son and a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers. Her demise has cast a pall of gloom in the area.

A deeply devoted lady, she was also associated with a number of local religious institutions. Her untimely demise was widely mourned and various institutions, including Tangla Media Circle and Human Rights Forum, offered heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members.
