OBITUARY Dilip Goswami

Dilip Goswami, a resident of Magurmara village and a known social worker of Diplonga on the northern part of Sootea breathed his last on Tuesday afternoon due to kidney-related ailments. He was 80. A devoted and silent worker of Axam Xahitya Xabha Goswami was closely associated with many socio-cultural organizations of the greater Diplonga area. He was a life member of Axam Xahitya Xabha and associated with Biswanath Zila Sahitya Sabha and Chengamari branch of Axam Xahitya Xabha. His demise was mourned by the Chengamari branch of Axam Xahitya Xabha, Biswanath Zila Sahitya Sabha along with other organisations. He leaves behind his wife, a son along with a host of relatives.
