Obituary: Physician of the Greater Sootea Dr. Mahendra Bora Succumbed to COVID-19

Dr. Mahendra Bora, a physician of the greater Sootea area under Biswanath district, succumbed to COVID-19 on June 1 at his LB Road residence. He was 76. Dr Bora suddenly felt unwell and breathed his last at around 5.30 pm on Tuesday. A generous and helpful physician, Dr. Bora was closely associated with many socio-cultural organizations of Sootea. Many organizations of the Sootea area, including Istantik Club, Sootea Press Club and AASU Sootea unit mourned the demise of Dr. Bora.
