OBITUARY: Girish Chandra Sarma

Retired Sanskrit teacher of Patacharkuchi Girls’ High School, Girish Chandra Sarma breathed his last at the age of 98 on April 25 at his Bamunkuchi residence. He was suffering from old-age ailment. Sarma was a pious man and a well-known priest of the locality. He also wrote two books titled Sri Sri Chandi and Lakshi Charit. He leaves behind two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives. His demise has been widely condoled.
