Biswanath College, Chariali Founder Khagendra Prasad Deka Passes Away

Khagendra Prasad Deka, the founder Head of the Department (HoD), Department of Economics, Biswanath College passed away on May 31. He was 89. Deka retired from Goalpara College as its Principal. He leaves behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives. His death was widely mourned in and around Biswanath Chariali.
