Obituary: Social worker Gopal Kafle

JAMUGURIHAT: A promising orator and a popular social worker of the Gamiripal area, near Jamugurihat, Gopal Kafle (47) breathed his last at the TMC&H (Tezpur Medical College & Hospital) in the early hours of Sunday. As he was suffering from diarrhea-related ailments, he was admitted in TMC&H on September 11.

A bachelor, Kafle was closely associated with many socio-cultural organizations of the Gamiripal area. Mention may be made of the Gamiripal Village Development Committee, and the Gamiripal Sporting Club among others. His untimely demise has been widely mourned by various organizations here.
