OBITUARY: Social Worker Tanuja Hazarika

A pious lady and a social worker, Tanuja Hazarika breathed her last on October 7 at her residence at Borigaon, Biswanath Chariali after a protracted illness. She was 76 years old at the time of her death.

She was involved in various social organizations and served as an advisor to the local North East Royal Global English School. She contributed significantly to the development of the educational environment and the excellence of the students in the area. Hazarika is survived by a son, two daughters, grandchildren and relatives. Her demise was widely mourned.
