Obituary: Surindra Kaur

Surindra Kaur, wife of noted businessmen Baldev Singh, departed for her heavenly sojourn due to age-old illness at her residence in Ward No. 4 locality of Tangla town in Udalguri district on July 29. She was 65.

A soft-spoken lady, she was loved and admired by all for her amicable disposition. A deeply devoted soul, she rendered her voluntary service as a teacher in Rashtriya Hindi Vidyalaya from 1985 to 2000. She was also associated with a number of local religious institutions. She leaves behind her son, daughter-in-law and a host of relatives and well wishers. Various organizations and institutions, including BJP State executive member Santiuse Kujur, and Tangla Media Circle have mourned her demise and offered condolences to the bereaved family members.
