OBITUARY Trailokya Kumar Baruah

Trailokya Kumar Baruah, retired subject teacher of Kalaigaon Higher Secondary School and former journalist passed away after suffering from heart ailments at a private hospital in Guwahati on August 29. He was 62.

A resident of Tangla town, he was associated with a leading English newspaper as its Tangla correspondent for a considerable period. He was also actively associated with Tangla Sahitya Sabha. He leaves behind his wife and son along with a host of relatives and well-wishers.

A number of organizations and institutions, including Udalguri Sahitya Sabha; Tangla Sahitya Sabha; Tangla Jyasta Nagarik Parishad; Tangla regional unit of AASU,AJYCP, AKRSU, Tangla Media Circle,Udalguri chapter of APCU have mourned his demise and expressed condolence to the bereaved family members.
