Offsite mock drill conducted at C2+ Recovery Unit of BCPL

DIBRUGARH: An Offsite Mock drill (Level-3) was conducted on Wednesday at C2+ Recovery Unit of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), Lakwa.

The scenario of the mock drill was major gas leakage in 24" rich gas feedstock pipeline laid from ONGC to BCPL, Lakwa. This offsite mock drill was conducted as per PNGRB guidelines in the presence of Senior Factory Inspector, Jorhat, SK Dey, Factory Inspector, Sibsagar, GD Paul, District Project Officer, DDMA Charaideo, Bijoy Lakshmi Gogoi, Field Officer, DDMA Charaideo, Dhrubo Gogoi.

BCPL senior officials, officers, staff members and AISF personnel actively participated in this Offsite mock drill. Fire and amp rescue team from mutual aid member organizations, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Oil India Limited (OIL) Moran along with State Fire Service team from Sonari and Nazira also participated in the mock drill.
