Oil India Limited celebrates Rajbhasha Mahotsav-2021

DIBRUGARH: Ensuring compliance with the policies and directives of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the month-long (1.9.21 to 30.9.21) Rajbhasha Mahostav-2021 is being celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Field Headquarters (FHQ) of Oil India Limited (OIL), Duliajan. An inaugural programme-cum-dictation competition was organized on Thursday at the Field Conference Room, OIL, Duliajan.

Officers and employees of various departments of OIL took part in the inaugural programme and competition. Attending the function, DGM, Official Language, Hare Krishna Barman, apprised everyone present about the guidelines issued by the Department of Official Language and the purpose of organizing the Rajbhasha Mahotsav. He called upon all to take part in various activities and competitions organized during Rajbhasha Mahotsav-2021. As per the guidelines issued by the Department of Official Language this year, it was decided to take the official language pledge on the occasion of Hindi Divas which is being celebrated on September 14

Due to the COVID-19 protocol in force, OIL has conducted some of the events online this year. During the month-long Rajbhasha Mahotsav-2021, an array of creative competitions such as dictation competition, online noting and drafting competition, online official language knowledge competition, essay competition and slogan competition will be organized for the officers, employees and their dependents. Apart from this, an official language workshop will also be organized for the participants present.
