Old Ban Theatre’s naamghar robbed in Sonitpur district

Tezpur: The historic Purana (old) Kolibari Naamghar adjacent to the old Baan Theatre in the Kolibari area under Sadar Police Station in Sonitpur district was robbed in the wee hours of Tuesday. Other valuables and offerings were stolen.

On receiving information, Numal Mahatta, Additional SP of Sonitpur, immediately visited the old Baan Theatre and spoke to the members of the old Baan Theatre naamghar and assured that the police had already launched a massive search operation to arrest the culprits.
