One-day Workshop held in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: A one-day workshop on National Educational Policy, 2019 was held at DHS Kanoi Law College on Wednesday. The event was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Purnima Duarah Saikia.

Advocate General, Government of Assam, and former Head, Department of Law, Gauhati University, Prof. Ramesh Chandra Borpatragohain graced the occasion as its chief guest. Resource person for the event was Joint Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University, Dr. Binod Chandra Borah. The workshop was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Borpatragohain.

The event, organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of DHSK Law College in collaboration with OIL, Duliajan, witnessed both Borpatragohain and Borah deliver lectures on the proposed New Education Policy, 2019. A detailed account on the proposed policy was given, and its merits, challenges as well as other aspects of it were discussed in great detail. Around 200 participants from different parts of the State attended the workshop.
