One dies of COVID-19 in Demow

DEMOW: COVID-19 claimed another life in Demow Dehajan on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as Mirajul Hussain, a resident of Demow Dehajan. According to sources, Mirajul Hussain (45), a resident of Demow Dehajan, went to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh on Friday and there he tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted there. Mirajul Hussain succumbed to the virus on Saturday morning.

Mirajul Hussain was the former member of AASU, Demow Regional Committee. The AASU, Demow Regional Committee leaders pray for his departed soul. Total 22 people have died due to COVID-19 in Demow, said a health official.
